As a second generation service member, I had the pleasure of retiring from the Marine Corps with not only life experience but a greater global perspective. With over fifteen years of military experience in the supply system, extensively as a Supply Chief a sizeable amount of skillsets were acquired. With a focus on leadership, strategic planning, budget management, procurement and the mobilization of supplies I learned how to do more with less. I pride myself on integrity, ethical leadership, and a relentless work ethic.

While serving I gained a great deal of respect and caring for my fellow Marines. I came to understand that service member’s individual life experience coupled with the responsibility of leadership brings forward a unique set of challenges. Thus, I have been recognized as an effective mentor as I had the privilege to help guide individuals with their career and life choices. That experience pushed me to get my BA in Psychology so that I could later help veterans and grow as an individual.

As the CEO of Dynamik, Inc. I have tapped into my Marine Corps background and now have another vehicle to assist me in reaching out and helping veterans that are in my local community and eventually globally.

In my off time you can either find me in the kitchen cooking for friends and family or in the outdoors taking a moment to unplug.

I love doing business on all levels.  I became an entrepreneur in 1996 when I started my first web site business with some friends that was going to be the next Amazon.com (this was long before anyone had heard of Amazon.com).  That business didn’t go very far before we threw in the towel.  However, aside from being my fist venture, it was also my last failure.  In 2002 I left my corporate career in Industrial Engineering and decided to build a company distributing industrial products.  That company later became Dynamik, Inc.

Over the years I have also been involved in several other ventures.  I co-founded and eventually sold a clothing brand, became a top Commercial Real Estate Broker, owned operated and sold a Coffee Shop, opened and continue to operate a Residential and Commercial Real Estate Brokerage, co-founded a Holistic Healing Device manufacturer, founded and continue to operate a Rental Equipment Business, founded and continue to operate an International Logistics Consulting Firm, and assisted in establishing a Plumbing Service company.  There are many more creations in the works that will eventually be added to this list.

All of these opportunities combined have turned me into a top notch Director of Operations.   I believe I have seen it all, and am excited to be involved in deals of all sizes.  I just love doing business and creating opportunities.  I am blessed to have had so many opportunities and I love sharing my experience.

I have a loving family with my beautiful wife Melissa, my baby Boy Bo, and two 4 leggers Baci and Chunk!  I crew on sail boats and hope someday to have one of my own.  In my down time I enjoy traveling most anywhere and try to make my annual inspirational trip to Burning Man!

I hold a BS in Business from Arizona State University and a MA in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica.  For service I act as CFO of the Garden of Innocence and sometimes serve on the San Diego Planning Commission.

San Diego native, Jesse Felten, has been with the Dynamik team since 2011. His primary role at Dynamik is managing the company’s fleet of construction rental equipment and the associated state, federal, and private contracts. Additionally, he has taken the lead in developing the Electric Vehicle Charging Station segment of the company.

Jesse makes the most of the Southern California climate. Most of his free weekends are spent surfing along the San Diego coastline or exploring the Sierra Nevada backcountry. His passion for outdoor activities has led him to a variety of places around the globe with unique infrastructure. This foreign exposure inspired him to head back to San Diego State after a number of years in the finance industry in order to pursue a B.S. in Civil Engineering. With a degree in hand, and an EIT certification, he is now on the path to attaining his PE license with the State of California and remains an active member with the American Society of Civil Engineers.

I thrive in a competitive environment, both in business and otherwise. I played collegiate football, where I learned the value of perseverance through adversity, and tenacity in the face of what may seem to be overwhelming odds. During this time I pursued a career in politics, working in an Oregon congressman’s office for two years, first as a legislative aide and later as a research analyst.

After realizing my future wasn’t in the field of politics, I began working as a paralegal in one of the top corporate law firms in the Portland, Oregon, area. There, while quickly climbing the ladder at the law firm, I learned the many ins and outs of the world of corporate law—including contracts and the nuances of prime contractor – subcontractor relationships—while studying for law school, with hopes of becoming an attorney myself. It was during this time that I found my passion for government contracting, which eventually led me to Dynamik.

My wide variety of experiences in both government and legal work have served to prepare me to be a first-rate project manager and problem solver. I love bringing my innate attention to detail accrued over countless hours poring over legislation and legal documents to my work in government contracting, and believe this skillset leaves me uniquely equipped to tackle any challenges which may arise in my work at Dynamik.

When I’m not working, you can either find me at a nearby mountain, snowboarding, or hiking in those same mountains, depending on the season. I love spending time with my 3 year old son, Griffen, and teaching him all that this world has to offer him.

I hold a BA in Politics and Communications from Willamette University, and frequently volunteer with local high schools mentoring young men as a football coach. I enjoy meeting new people, and would love to hear about your passions in business and life!

Building relationships has always led me down a road of passion in my life. This quality has always come second nature, but by any means no easy task. I take pride in the ability to organically build and maintain precious relationships, whether it be client related, family or friends. My New England mentality has instilled strong culture and work ethic to continuously over deliver and retain such great individuals around me.

Having obtained a Bachelor’s in Science under Business Management I continue to expand on my critical thinking, leadership and communication skills. Overseeing the Sales Division for a Small Business requires enduring teamwork and persistent resource management as it relates to people, money and time. The strategic analysis and decision making that takes place each and every day at Dynamik, Inc. allows me to fulfill my greater being.

I originally came from the Retail Management and Operations world. I have met and serviced thousands of Americans, as well as active and retired military in these coastal towns of Rhode Island to San Diego. This experience has allowed me to be touched by many stories from various cultures and perspectives. I am blessed to have managed and worked with so many great employees and peers at a top Fortune 500 company.

I am happy to say that I now can call sunny San Diego home. I’ve spent my most recent years traveling up and down the West coast pursuing high rise development for the public and private sector exceeding $2,000,000,000 in pursuits. Continuing to build strong relationships as its been carved out to be part of my original destiny, has led the doors to open at Dynamik, Inc. Connecting with Dominic an entrepreneur at heart and Amy a Service-Disabled Veteran has instilled a new passion in me. Knowing that I may continue to impact those around me, but in a much more focused niche market with the same large clients has been beyond fulfilling. I look forward to growing our business and our clients to levels that far exceed my wildest expectations.
